PROGRAMME on 26th March 2014.
In the chairman’s remarks Principal Lt. Dr. M. Satyanarayana elucidated
the importance of Right to Vote. Dr.
Smt. Ch. Jagadeswari, Lecturer Incharge of Department of Political Science in
her speech explained the importance of correct exercise of vote in the Indian context. Sri A. Satyamurthy, chief guest of the
function had explained about the Importance of right to vote under the backdrop
of Youth and Politics & Corruption and black money.

Science of the P.R. Government College (A), KAKINADA has celebrated the NATIONAL
INTEGRATION DAY on 31st October 2013. In the chairman’s remarks Principal Lt. Dr.
M. Satyanarayana elucidated the necessity of inculcating the tendency of unity
among the people of India. He paid tributes to Smt. Indira Gandhi and
admired her efforts in keeping India
united. Dr. Smt. Ch. Jagadeswari,
Lecturer Incharge of Department of Political Science in her speech explained
the impact of regionalism on unity of Indian nation. Prof. A. Venkata Rao (Retired), chief guest
of the function had explained about the Indian culture of Unity in
Diversity. He also gave an account of
the causes for development of regional and secessionist tendencies in India. On this
occasion an Elocution competition was conducted to all the students of the
college and prizes were distributed to the winners.

observed the WORLD AIDS DAY on 1st December 2013. All the units of NCC, NSS, Staff and Students
of the college took part in the rally organised from P.R. College
in collaboration with the District Health Department, Red Cross Society, NSS,
NCC and Red Ribbon Club.
